The NCOC meeting was held today in Islamabad i.e. 06-04-2021. It is decided to close the schools for classes 1 to 8 till April 28 in corona affected districts. The 3rd wave of coronavirus is very severe and causing more infection rate than the previous two waves. Hence, it is decided to close primary and middle schools for this month as well. The decision will be reviewed in the next meeting on April 28.

Class 9-12 will be closed till April 18 and re-opened from April 19. 50% attendance will be followed for class 9 to 12, as these students will have to appear in board examinations. It is also decided that students will not be promoted without exams this year.

All Public & Private schools Classes 1-8 to remain closed until Eid in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Multan, Bahawalpur, Sialkot, Sargodha, Faisalabad, TT Singh, RYK, DG Khan and Sheikhupura. Decision to be reviewed in 2 weeks.

All Examinations for Classes 9 through 12 and O/A Levels will be conducted as per schedule in Punjab.
