Institutional Performance Evaluation (IPE)
During the Institutional Performance Evaluation (IPE), HEC checks the university performance according to the 11 IPE Standards. Those 11 IPEstandatds are:
- Mission Statements and Goals
- Planning and Evaluation
- Organization and Governance
- Institutional Resources
- Academic program and Curricula
- Public Disclosure and Transparency
- Assessment and Quality Assurance
- Students Support Services
Postgraduate Programme Review (PGPR)
During Postgraduate Programme Review (PGPR), the commission checks that either the institutes follow the HEC criteria to start MA/M.Phil and Doctoral Degrees. Thus, IPE and PGPR’s primary purpose is to make the universities’ performances better with excellent quality.
These evaluations are conducted by engaging peers from other universities including vice-chancellors/rectors and academia not below Associate Professors as well as Directors of Quality Enhancement Cells (QECs). This endeavor will definitely help to improve the state of quality in higher education institutions.
