Notification of Annual Increment 2016 to Clerical Staff AJ&K
Finance Department, Azad Government of the State of Jammu & Kashmir has issued a Notification on 29-01-2021 in connection with Annual Increment 2016 to Clerical Staff.
No.FD/R/1552-1621/2021. The President Azad Jammu & Kashmir has been pleased to add the following para 7 after para 6 of this department’s notification No. FD/R/1961-1960/2016 dated 03-06-2016.
As a special dispensation, the annual increment falling due on 1st December 2016 shall be admissible to the above-mentioned employees in the upgraded pay scales.
The Finance Department of AJK did not grant this annual increment to the clerical staff in 2016 due to the up-gradation of their post. The duration of the 6 months they did not complete as the condition to get the annual increment is a minimum of 6 months continuous regular service.
However many employees got the same annual increment by refixation of pay by using the option. In this way, they used to opt to fix the pay on 1st December 2016 in new pay scale after getting an annual increment in the previous scale. These employees will also get the benefit as they will also arrear amount from 1st July to 30th Nov 2016.
The employees who did not use the option will get now the annual increment due on 01-12-2016 and hence the arrears from 01-07-2016 till to date.
