According to the details, The Inter-Board Chairman Committee approved the request to digitize the records of all the Boards. The purpose of introducing this digitalization process is to provide ease to all National IT Boards for document attestation. IBCC initiated this step to design the automation system to provide an amazing online facility in the attestation and equivalency process for the general public. Moreover, after a successful meeting held between Secretary IBCC Dr. Ghulam Ali Mallah and NITB executive director in the Federal Capital, Shafqat Mehmood advised the education authorities to digitize the records.
They conducted one more meeting among examining bodies. At the IBCC Islamabad, they create a central repository of data of all the examination boards of Pakistan. This digitalization process came out in a phasing manner as a pilot.
First of all, they offer this in FBISE Islamabad, BISE Lahore, BISE Peshawar, BISE Quetta, and BISE Karachi will add their data to the central repository. NITB in collaboration with the IBCC supports the digitization of the existing manual data of all the boards. NITB provides astonishing e-services to the IBCC secretariat and its regional offices to automate all internal processes.
In addition to that, it is also informed of all that NITB is working on creating new software. They create Central Banks of Question Items at the IBCC secretariat for all examination boards. This software will help to shift the assessment from rote learning to concept learning system.
