The University of Health Sciences (UHS) has announced the admissions schedule for MBBS and BDS programs for the 2024-25 academic session in Punjab’s government medical and dental colleges. Eligible candidates are invited to apply online for First Year MBBS/BDS in public sector institutions across Punjab.

UHS Eligibility Criteria for MBBS Admissions 2024
The applicant has passed HSSC or F.Sc. (Pre-Medical) or equivalent examination with a minimum of 60 percent (660/1100) marks.
- The applicant’s domicile must be in any district of Punjab.
- The applicant has scored a minimum of 55 percent marks for MBBS and 50 percent marks for BDS in the MDCAT-2024.
- Candidates shall be required to fulfill additional eligibility requirements for various categories of seats as given in the Prospectus.
UHS Merit Formula 2024
The weightage criteria for the calculation of Aggregate Percentage shall be as follows:
- SSC/Matriculation/Equivalent – 10%
- HSSC/F.Sc. Pre-Medical/ Equivalent – 40%
- MDCAT – 50%

How to Apply Online for UHS MBBS Admissions 2024
The application process for MBBS admissions at the University of Health Sciences (UHS) is entirely online. Please note that manual or paper-based applications will not be accepted. Follow the steps below to complete your application:

- Profile Information: After logging in, you will need to enter your profile information, including your name, domicile, marks, and other relevant details.
- Document Upload: You must upload scanned copies of the required documents, photographs, signatures, and your left thumb impression (LTI) according to the specifications outlined in the prospectus.
- Order of Preference: Each applicant is required to list their preferred medical and dental colleges in order of preference, starting with their top choice. Please be aware that this preference order is final and cannot be altered after submission. If a college is not listed in your preferences, you will not be considered for admission there.
- Final Submission: Once you have completed your application, you will not be able to make any edits. Ensure all information is accurate before finalizing your submission.
- Additional Considerations: Hafiz-e-Quran candidates and students with disabilities should check the relevant box on the application and upload the required documentation. After submission, an SMS and email will be sent to you with details regarding the venue, date, and time of the Hifz-e-Quran Test/Medical Board.
